THE BRIEF
James Friend was tasked to create a short film that showcased some of the best features of the new Sony cinema camera, the BURANO. He also used the VENICE 2 to capture some of the plane mounted aerial shots.
THE PRODUCTION
ImageNova captured the BTS for the production, liaising with James and the filming team to work around their schedule, which worked around changes in weather and atmospheric conditions. As the BURANO was mounted to a helicopter, filming took place across multiple days to capture the rigging and filming process with Marzano Films.
